When he is not out playing on the diamond, Andre Ethier is apparently a big fan of good food as well. The Dodgers outfielder has started the blog Dining with ‘Dre in which he will provide reviews of various restaurants in the greater Los Angeles territory.
Thanks to everyone for taking a look at my new blog, where I’ll be reviewing restaurants around the Los Angeles area throughout the season. I can’t really call myself an expert or a true food critic, but I love to try new restaurants and so we though it would be cool to show off some of my favorites…or maybe some of those that I won’t be going back to anytime soon.
Ethier is part of an ever growing trend in which athletes are writing blogs for various websites and newspapers. Currently, Gilbert Arenas of the Wizards writes for NBA.com, Chris Cooley of the Redskins contributes for Yahoo Sports, and John Lackey of the Angels operates his blog on Yardbarker. These players have become more popular with their blogs so it’ll be interesting to see if Andre has some success as well.
