According to several sources including ESPN.com’s Buster Olney and Foxsports.com’s Ken Rosenthal, the Oakland Athletics are set to acquire left fielder Matt Holliday from the Colorado Rockies. The players going to Colorado in the deal are not yet known.
The Los Angeles Angels were said to be interested in traded for the Rockies’ slugger, so we’ll have a more in-depth look at how this affects the Angels later.
