According to Los Angeles Times columnist Broderick Turner and Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, the Lakers will re-sign point guard Shannon Brown, who was acquired in a mid-season trade from Charlotte.
Brown is expected to receive a two-year, $4.2 million contract with a player option for year two. Because free agents can’t officially sign with teams until Wednesday, Brown, much like new Laker Ron Artest, can not formally be introduced as a member of the team until that date has passed.
Stay tuned for more information.
